  8. XX.3.96 - Financial report

    Fred W. Taylor used this sheet of paper to keep track of his expenses after getting paid on 5 September 1945. On that day, he received $25 but spent a total of $11.75 on paying off an eight dollar debt, cigarrettes, a haircut, movies, food, taxi fare, and phone calls. By day's end, he had $14.25 remaining. On this date, the BOSTWICK was moored at the U.S. Naval Air Station Pier, Quonset Point, Rhode Island.

    This manual was sent to ships using a previous 40mm amplifier to educate crews on the new amplifier. It is brief manual covering the reasons for the change, how to adjust it, and put it through a test. A more in depth operating procedure was later sent, according to this memo.
