XX.3.93 - 26 Youths Enter Navy Service Here
This article appeared in the 12 September 1943 edition of the Lansing State Journal. Titled "26 YOUTHS ENTER NAVY SERVICE HERE" it lists the names of local men joining the Navy. Burton Morgan Sickelsmith went on to serve aboard USS BRONSTEIN (DE-189) and USS STURTEVANT (DE-239) in late 1945 and early 1946 as a Seaman First Class.
