Cover page reads: "DESTROYER ESCORTS // U.S. ATLANTIC FLEET // U.S.S. EBERT (DE-768) // SHIP'S ORGANIZATION BOOK // 1944 // R-E-S-T-R-C-T-E-D // 12 JULY 1944". A metal clasp protrudes through each page for securement.

    This black and white photograph shows the EBERT in drydock at Tamp Shipbuilding a week prior to her commissioning. She appears to be close to being fitted out and even has her High Frequency Radio Direction (HUFF DUFF) antenna installed aft. Black text at bottom right reads: "U.S.S.
