    Yellow paper liberty pass issued to Cecil G. Medford on 1 July 1951, signed by Lt. R.M. Page, Jr., USNR. Interestingly, there is no expiration date listed on the Liberty Pass. The document number is "DD (N) - 345" and was created on 1 April 1950. At the lower right is another document number, "16-63060-1 GPO." Pass contained within original plastic cover.

  2. 2006.55.22 - USS CURRIER refueling

    The CURRIER seen refueling from the carier USS BOXER (CV/CVA/CVS-21, LPH-4). Exact date and location are unknown. Handwritten inscription in ink on original negative envelope reads: "CURRIER - DE 700 // Refueling from USS BOXER." Ink stamp on envelope reads: "TED STONE // PHOTOGRAPHY."

  3. 2007.8.1 - CURRIER in WWII

    19" x 13 " black and white framed photograph of the CURRIER during her WWII service as evidenced by the small hull number on her bow. This image was possibly captured during sea trials as she is in a measure 22 camouflage. Two months after commissioning, she was painted in measure 31/14D.
