Description |
Colortone print of the CLAUD JONES underway, date and location unknown. She was the lead ship of her class of four ships. Her size and speed were comparable to the WWII classes before her but only featured a single screw. The two 3-inch deck guns were enclosed unlike previous classes of 3-inch. Hedgehogs remained but modern torpedoes were added. |
